Dr. Jonathan Durocher

I was raised next to my grandparent’s farm in Chackbay; every day growing up I saw an array of animals ranging from dogs and cats, chickens, geese and rabbits on up to cattle and horses. It seemed only natural to pursue a career as a veterinarian and I am very glad I did!

Each visitor to our office gives me an opportunity to work with my clients, together providing the best care we can for their fury family members.

Since my wife Jane and I have 4 kids, I enjoyed many “Dad can we keep it?” pets. We now share our home with Babe the Boston Terrier and 2 lovable cats- Grace and Lucifer.

For me and my staff, our working principle is “Our focus is on the patient in each and every decision we make!”

Dr. Kimberly Deskin

I was born and raised in Lafayette. After attending University of Louisiana at Lafayette, I moved to Baton Rouge to attend Louisiana State University. I received a Bachelor’s degree in Animal Science and then continued on to receive a Doctorate Degree in Veterinary Medicine.

After graduation I moved to Thibodaux to join the staff at Durocher Veterinary Clinic. In 2005, I married my best friend, Tommy Ruth.

I am a member of both the AVMA and LVMA. My special interests include canine and feline internal medicine and dermatology. I enjoy spending my free time with my family and friends. Our family includes one son Wesley and two daughters, Libby Mae and Holly Claire.
